It's a...we're not sure...

At 21 weeks, it was time to learn our child's gender. Well, she was sitting with her legs crossed and we could see nothing. The doctor pounded on my belly, but she wouldn't move. Her best guess, it was a girl because boys usually paraded around their stuff. She would redo the scan in 3 weeks.

We came back at 24 weeks. She was facing my spine. What?! Best guess, it's a girl since she could make out faint little lines. We weren't about to paint the nursury yellow with butterflies for our son, so we needed to be sure.

We decided to go to Peek a Belly for a 3D scan. I decided to wait 3 more weeks before scheduling the appointment time in hopes that we would get a good picture of her face as well as...err.. her business. We showed up at Peek a Belly - Bryan had issued her a stern warning before going in. His exact words "Baby, you better cooperate if you want anything. We need to know if you are a boy or a girl and if you don't show us, you will not have anything in your room!"

Well, our baby finally listened - a little too well. She put her legs over her head and completely covered her face. The only thing we could tell about her was that she was a girl!

Welcome to the world, Camdyn McKinley!

The picture above is from a second session at Peek A Belly. They were so nice to let us come back for a 2nd session so we could see her sweet face! This one is stubborn if anything! :)
